Principal: KEITH THOMAS PARSLEY

Keith was educated at Bablake School, Coventry and the University of Reading where he achieved an Honours degree in Estate Management (Rural Option) and a Postgraduate Diploma (Urban Valuation Option) from the same university. He was articled to John Briggs & Calder in 1978 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and also as a member of the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers.

In 1987 Keith was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors for which professional body he also acts as a Chairman Panel Assessor in the Assessment of Professional Competence of post graduate surveyors.

In addition to providing management services, Keith undertakes valuations on a regular basis and has provided expert evidence in connection with tribunals and court proceedings for matrimonial, insurance, probate, rent review and other purposes. He is a member of the Valuation, Commercial Property, Residential Property and Rural Faculties of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Keith is included on the President of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor's Panel of Independent Experts.

Consultant: DAVID JOHN SHORTLAND

David Shortland was articled to Robinson Osborne & Moules in September in 1972 and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1980, becoming a partner in 1982. ROM was a large local firm of chartered surveyors specialising in all types of commercial property with a substantial management department.

In March 1989 David was appointed a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and in September of the same year he was appointed a Main Board Director of Countrywide Surveyors. In 1994 he was appointed a Main Board Director of Countrywide Commercial.

In May 1995 David left the company to form Shortland Horne Ltd, where he is currently Chairman.

Consultant: ANTONY CRESSWELL-BLACK

Antony qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1985 having spent time working for a local authority before gaining further experience dealing with properties in the retail sector and licensed trade.

In the mid 1980's Antony set up his own practice before amalgamating with a larger concern in Leicester. A further period in private practice led to the creation of Cresswell Associates in 1992, dealing with all aspects of building surveying from residential through to commercial properties. The growth of the practice resulted with a sound client base and considerable experience within the licensed trade, dealing with public houses, large nightclubs and licensed premises. In 2000 Antony became the managing director of Cresswell Property Surveys Ltd, operating from his existing office in Ashby de la Zouch since 1998. With his range of building surveying skills he deals with all aspects of his profession from large building surveys, dilapidations and schedules through to measured surveys and the production of quality architectural drawings using the latest computer software.
